Area of a parallelogram is 450cm2 and its altitude is 20cm. Find the length of the corresponding side of the parallelogram.

Solution :-

Area of the parallelogram = 450 sq cm

Altitude = 20 cm

Corresponding side (Base) = ?

Area of the parallelogram = Base*Height

⇒ 450 = Base × 20

⇒ Base = 450/20

⇒ Base = 22.5 cm

So, corresponding side or base is 22.5 cm
