Answer:

Perimeter (P) = 96 cm

Explanation:

Let the breadth of a rectangle

(b) = x cm

length (l) = 2x cm

Area (A) = 512 cm²[Given]

=> l × b = 512

=> 2x * x = 512

=> x² = 512/2

=> x² = 256

=> x = √256

=> x = 16 cm

Length (l) = 2x = 2×16 = 32cm

Breadth (b) = x = 16cm

Now,

Perimeter (P) = 2(l+b)

= 2(32+16)

= 2×48

= 96 cm

Let, Breadth= x cm & Length= 2x cm

ATQ,

x × 2x= 512

or, 2x^2= 512

or, x^2= 256

or, x= 16

Perimeter= 2(32+16). cm

= (2 × 48) cm

= 96 cm
