Answer:

are of trapezium=1/2(sum of parallel side)×height

176=1/2(10+P)×8

176=(10+P)×4

176-40=4p

136=4p

136/4=p

p= 34

Answer:

Let the required side be a cm

\therefore Area of Trapezium :

 \frac{1}{2} (a + b) \times h = 176

 \frac{1}{2} (a + 10) \times 8 = 176

4(a + 10) = 176

4a = 176 - 40

4a = 136

a =  \frac{136}{4}

a = 34  \: cm
