area of a triangle whose base 40 corresponding altitude 8 cm

Base of the triangle = 40cm
Altitude (Height) = 8cm
therefore, Area of triangle = 1/2 × ( b × h )
= 1/2 × 40 × 8
= 4 × 40
= 160 cm² Ans....

area of triangle =half of product of base and height
height=8
base=40cm
if there us 8 m in question then the area is 1/2×800×40
16000cm²
if there is 8 cm in question then area is
1/2×8×40
160cm²
