∴we know that area of square=side×side

∴2500=side×side

∴2500=side²

∴√2500=side

∴50=side

if a path of width 1m runs around it

∴area of larger square(square garden along with the path)=(50+1+1)(50+1+1)

=52×52

=2704m²

∴area of the path=area of larger square-area of garden

=2704-2500

=204m²

Area of the path is 204m²
