We know that formula for area of a circle is πr^2

=> πr^2 = 394.24

(22/7)r^2 = 394.24

r^2 = 394.24 × 7 / 22

r^2 = 17.92 × 7 = 125.44

Hence Radius, r = 11.2 cm

Since Diameter = 2 Radius

= 2 (11.2) = 22.4 cm

Therefore Diameter of the given circle is 22.4 cm.
