         By joining the midpoints of adjacent side of rhombus with diagonals could leads to parallelogram.  To find the value of parallelogram, as we known the relation between parallelogram and rhombus. And every rhombus is a ‘special kind of parallelogram’. Such that the formula for area of parallelogram.

= base X height  

= half of area of rhombus.

=> Area of parallelogram

          = 0.5 \times 12 \times 16

                 = 192 \times 0.5

                 = 96 cm^2

Therefore, the area of given parallelogram is 96 cm^2.
