The smallest side = Height = 5 cm

The other side = Base = ?

Area of Right Angle Triangle = 30 cm²

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height

30 = 1/2 × Base × 5

60 = Base × 5

Base = 60/5 = 12 cm

Now,

By Pythagoras Theorem :

(Height)² + (Base)² = (Hypotenuse)²

(5)² + (12)² = (Hypotenuse)²

25 + 144 = (Hypotenuse)²

169 = (Hypotenuse)²

Hypotenuse = 13 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the triangle=1/2×base×height

30=1/2×5×h

60/5=h

12=h

Now by Pythagoras theorem

HYPOTENUSE^2=b^2+h^2

=25+144

=169

13^2

Hypotenuse=13
