Length of rectangle = 16 cm
And,
Breadth of rectangle = 4 cm
Therefore,
Area of rectangle = ( L × B )
=> ( 16 × 4 )
=> 64 cm².
Area of square = (Side)²
According to question,
Area of square = Area of rectangle
(Side)² = 64
Side = ✓64 = 8 cm
Hence,
Sides of square = 8 cm.
