Heya friend ..

a' First term =17 .

l' last term =-40

n= no. of term =10

d'(common difference)=t2-t1=14-(-17)=3

for finding the tn term from the last term formula is

tn=l-(n-1)d

t10=-40-(10-1)3

=>-40-27

=>-67 is t10 ...

Hope it helps you.

Titiks80: How ??
Titiks80: But we can apply a+(n-1)d also where a =-40 .Answer is exactly same.
Titiks80: Try and check the answer. Aren't they same??
Titiks80: So we have to find tenthterm from the last term itself.
