Let us assume that the length of one side of a square be X ( since, all sides of  a square is equal).

Now, we have area of the square be X^2. In the problem, area of the square is 576 sq-cm.

According to the problem, X^2 = 576

or, X = 24 (since, X can not be negative.)

Now, we have to find the perimeter of the square. So, the perimeter of the square be 4*X,

So, 4*X = 4 * 24 =  96

Answer: Perimeter = 96 cm.
