Given :-

  • Area of the trapezium is 80m² and its parallel sides are 1m and 2.2m.

To find :-

  • Perpendicular distance.

Solution :-

  • Area of trapezium = 80cm²

  • Length of parallel sides = 1m and 2.2 m

As we know that

→ Area of trapezium ½ (a + b) × h

Where " (a + b) " is sum of parallel sides and " h " is Attitude.

According to the question

→ Area of trapezium = 80m²

→ ½ (a + b) × h = 80

→ ½ (1 + 2.2) × h = 80

→ ½ × 3.2 × h = 80

→ 1.6 × h = 80

→ h = 80/1.6

→ h = 50m

Therefore,

  • Height of trapezium is 50m

More to know :-

  • Area of circle = πr²

  • Circumfrence of circle = 2πr

  • Perimeter of reactangle = 2(l + b)

  • Perimeter of square = 4 × side

  • Area of square = side × side

  • Area of rhombus = ½ × product of diagonals

  • Area of Parallelogram = base × height
