Heya friend,
Here your answer,
Given: area = 300m^2, height = 15m, one of the parallel side(a) = 26m.
To find: the other parallel side(b) = ?
Solution:
Since the area of trapezium is,
Area = [(a + b) /2] × h
Therefore,
=>300 = [(26 + b)/2]×15
=> 600 = (26 + b) × 15
=> 600/15 = 26 + b
=> 40 = 26 + b
=> b = 40 - 26
=> b = 14 m
Therefore the other parallel side is 14m.
Hope it helps you.
Thank you.
