Area of the trapezium = ½×(sum of parallel sides) × height(distance between them)

Putting the values on the formula

84 = ½ × (12 +19) × height
84 = ½ × 31 × height
84 × 2 = 31 ×height
168\31 = height
5.3 = height

area of trapezium =
 \frac{1}{2}  \times distence \:  \time \: {sum  of \: parallel \: sides
 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (12 + 19) \\ 84 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times 31 \\ h \:  = 84 \times 2  \div 31  \\ h = 168 \div 31 \\ h = 5.41m
