Let the number of 50p coin = x
number of 25p coin = 2x
value of 50p coin = x × 50/100
= x/2
value of 25p coin = 2x × 25/100
= x/2
ATQ
x/2 + x/2 = 44
x = 44
number of coin = x + 2x
= 3x
x = 44
3x = 44 × 3
= 132
