The Arjun award is given to an extra ordinary player of the football team of India.

But India is presently running under the league system, which had commenced after an establishment of National Football League in the year 1996.

The All India Football Federation has almost 6,500 clubs that are registered with it in India.

But presently the state of football as a sport is not very good.
