Answer: N₂ < SO₃ < ClF₃ < K₂O < LiF

Explanation:

1) N₂ =  elemental state = no charge

2) SO₃ = sulphur = +6 = not very electro negative = lowest ionic character

3) ClF₃ = chlorine = +3 = a little elctro negative

4) K₂O = potassium = +1 = less electro positive

5) LiF = Li = +1 and F= -1 = perfect ionic pair = highest ionic character

(for a compound to possess maximum ionic charecter

  • metal should have large size = less charge(=ve)
  • non metal should have small size = high charge(-ve)
