"The geologic time scale (GTS) is a system of chronological dating that relates geological strata (stratigraphy) timewise. It is used by geologists, paleontologists, and other Earth scientists to describe the timing and relationships of events that have occurred during Earth's history.

The perfect sequence on the geological time scale ranging in ascending order is :Bacteria (as long as 3.5 billion years), Jawless Fish (approximately 570million years ago), Dinosaurs(approximately 205million years ago), Angiosperms(63 million years ago)."
