Ionic radius is the distance from the nucleus of an ion .

It is up to which it has an influence on its electron cloud.

when an atom lose or gain its electron an ion is formed.

To find the ionic radii

Find the radii of anion (r-) atom. Find inter nuclear distance (d) between anion and cation.

The ionic radii of C4- is 2.60

The ionic radii of N3- is 1.71

The ionic radii of O2- is 1.36

The ionic radii of F1- is 1.40

N3- is more polarizable than O2- because N3- is actually larger than O2-.

Nitrogen,Oxygen and Florine has 10 electrons.

Hence,the order is C4-,N3-,F1-,O2-
