whenever we are comparing ions generally We will compare the ions containing same number of electrons. But here in this example these ions contain different number of electrons so the rule applied for isoelectronic ions is not applicable here . But positive ions are smaller than negative ions .In the given example Sodium and magnesium have same number of electrons Sulphur and chlorine have same number of electrons if you consider these points we can give the order of the ions as given in the above picture.
