trick to find which fraction is bigger is:
cross multiplication
like, 2/5 and -1/2
numerator of first fraction with denominator of second:
2*2=2 [let this be the value of the first fraction]
then numerator of the second fraction with the denominator of the first:
-1*5= -5 [value of second fraction]
so the first fraction is bigger
*consider the product to be the value of the fraction whose numerator is there
*it is not the real value of the fraction we are just using it to compare both the fractions.
