Arrange the following three-dimensional objects in the descending order of their volumes:
(i) A cuboid with dimensions 10 cm, 8 cm and 6 cm
(ii) A cube of side 8 cm
(iii) A cylinder with base radius 7 cm and height 7 cm
(iv) A sphere of radius 7 cm
(A) (i), (ii), (iii), (iv)
(B) (ii), (i), (iv), (iii)
(C) (iii), (ii), (i), (iv)
(D) (iv), (iii), (ii), (i)

1.Volume of cuboid is length*breadth*height = 10*8*6 = 480 cm³

2.Volume of cube is length³ = 8³ = 512 cm³

3.Volume of cylinder = πr²h = π*7²*7 = 1078 cm³

4.Volume of sphere is 4/3 * πr³ = 4/3 * π*7³ = 1437.33 cm³

So descending order is  4>3>2>1 (option D)
