Answer:

first we need to make the denominator same by taking LCM

LCM of 10,15,5 is 30

3/5 = 18/30, 9/10 = 27/30 and 11/15 = 22/30

ascending order: 18/30 (3/5)< 22/30 (11/15)< 27/30 (9/10)

Arranging the fractions in ascending order we get 3/5 , 11/15 , 9/10

Given :

The fractions 3/5 , 9/10 , 11/15

To find :

To arrange the fractions in ascending order

Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Write down the given fractions

Here the given fractions are 3/5 , 9/10 , 11/15

Step 2 of 2 :

Arrange the fractions in ascending order

Denominator of the fractions are 5 , 10 , 15 respectively

LCM of the denominators = 30

Thus we get

\displaystyle \sf \frac{3}{5} = \frac{3 \times 6}{5 \times 6} = \frac{18}{30}

\displaystyle \sf \frac{9}{10} = \frac{9 \times 3}{10 \times 3} = \frac{27}{30}

\displaystyle \sf \frac{11}{15} = \frac{11 \times 2}{15 \times 2} = \frac{22}{30}

Now we have

\displaystyle \sf 18 < 22 < 27

\displaystyle \sf{ \implies } \frac{18}{30} < \frac{22}{30} < \frac{27}{30}

\displaystyle \sf{ \implies } \frac{3}{5} < \frac{11}{15} < \frac{9}{10}

Hence arranging the fractions in ascending order we get 3/5 , 11/15 , 9/10
