Explanation:

Aah.. the 21st century. The century where we live in a digital ecosystem surrounded by technology all around. Looking at where we started and how far we’ve come and the things we’ve achieved is truly commendable. All this happened due to the curious mind of humans which drives them to continually strive for more and more. We have created Machinery which can destroy countries, metal behemoths which can take us to space and what not and recently A.I (Artificial Intelligence) have caught everyone’s attention for both good and for bad reasons.

Yes, you read it correctly it’s about the artificial intelligence and not the real world slavery which was practiced for like a million of years and we so despise. For those, who are still not sure about what the heck is A.I. Let me describe in an abridged manner.

Well, it all started when a gentleman named “Alan Turing” (Yes, the genius who played a pivotal role in cracking intercepted messages created by the Enigma) gained interest in machine intelligence and proposed a test namely “Turing Test” which as per standard definition is:

Test of a machine’s ability to exhibit intelligent behavior equivalent to, or indistinguishable from, that of a human.

Answer:

Article on human beings becomes slave of the tecnolgy

Mankind has reached a point in history where it is unimaginable and impossible to live without technology. It did not happen overnight. Technology has gradually overcome us. We are not even aware of the fact that we have become slaves to technology. Human beings who are supposed to be rulers have become bonded slaves of technology.

In our search to discover unknown things and to invent new things we have reached a stage where it is unimaginable and impossible to live without technology. We have become so dependent and reliant on technology that if it were to be taken from us we would feel lost and clueless.

We think technology is helping us in many ways like financial transaction, buying food and stuffs, paying our bills, booking our flight tickets, education, getting instant medical advice on health issues, watching our favorite movies with a few taps and many more. But although technology has been helping us, it has pulled us away from the real world.

We make technology to help us. Over the the years we have been improving technology to be more perfect and efficient. Yet slowly technology has become too involved in everything we do in our daily life. We can not live without it and and it is apparent that we don't even know about it. It has boomed and become too connected with our lives. Technology is seen to help us save time and fix everything and therefore we are unaware that we have become slaves to technology.

As human beings, we love the latest technological gadgets in a big way. every day. We love what it allows us to do, how people can connect, communicate and collaborate. But in the process we have lost an authentic relationship to happen. The works we do with technology do not permit us to work as a team of real humans with real connection to each person. So, are we not slaves to technology?

Decades ago there was an optimism about the future of the digital age. It arrived but at heavy cost. Psychologically, the silence without real human social life is making us more isolated. Depression is now a common problem. We are social beings and it is vital for us to have real not virtual relationships. If we want an authentic relationship, you need to connect in person. Those days when there were handshakes and hugs are vanishing. Physically, technology has stolen our health. We have less physical activities and many of our body parts are becoming less inactive and shutting down. New technologies can be empowering and helpful in connecting with people anywhere in the world but the truth, the reality is that they have divided us and make us more lonely and isolated than ever before. We don't realize that over the years we have steadily and gradually become actors in our own story. Instead of mastering technology, instead of using technology, mankind has become slaves and tools in the hand of technology.
