A country growths when all of its citizens actively participate in development goals as being assets of the country. Citizens aren't only men. Men and women both are known to be the citizens of a country. The contributions of women in development goals as well as in social welfare are splendid.
In ancient times women weren't even allowed to equate themselves with men. But the time has changed now. In this modern era, women are not only equating themselves but also proofing themselves to the best in every field in comparison to men. Every sector, whether it is sports or business, everywhere women have given their full potential.
Unfortunately, the conservative social mindsets of people is still residing in the society, especially in rural areas. Girls are being molested and deprived from there rights. Some people are killing girls in the womb. Rape, harassment and violation with women are increasing rapidly. All these activities merely need a prevalent change and improvement so as to make women empowered.
In the true sense, women empowerment means to have the privilege of being independent and deciding the best choice for a woman by herself. If it comes on empowerment, so first it's significant to have change in women's attitude which should also be brave and courageous. Thereafter society comes which needs improvement and this improvement can be done after a big and active step of general mass.
empowerment means to measures designed to increase the degree of autonomy in people and in communities in order to enable them to represent their interests in a responsible and self determined way of acting on their own authority.

This is the process for women to redefine gender roles that allows for them to acquire the ability to choose between known alternatives whom have otherwise been restricted from such an ability.
Women empowerment has become a significant topic of discussion in developmentand economics. It can also point to the approaches regarding other trivialized genders in a particular political or social context.
