All the holy roads lead but to Rome

It is absolutely true that all the holy roads lead but to Rome. The meaning of this idiomatic expression is ‘All religions lead to the same ONE GOD.’ Religion is a path to connect to God. God can only be ONE. There can be no two Gods. So any one trying to create disparity in the name of religion is doing the greatest sin. He is not only making innocent people fight but also inviting God’s wrathful vengeance.

All religions basically have the same spirit; they may differ in form. However, their purpose is none – uniting man with the Creator.  Since all religions guide the followers’ footsteps to self-realization, they must be respected and revered.

All people in the world have the right to religion; there can be no coercion used in religious matters. Everyone should be proud of his/her religion; but that does not mean one should disparage other religions. When anyone does so, he/she is actually disparaging God.

Only men/women who have shallow understanding about their religion, don’t appreciate other religions. When one goes quite deep in one’s own religion, one is sure to realize the entire creation is owned by one God only; so one will have a cosmic outlook on life that includes all in One and One in all.

In conclusion it can be said that we must be proud of our unique religion as it connects us to God; but at the same time we must also appreciate other religions because they also connect other men and women to the same GOD.

We must not think of fighting or arguing anyone following a different path to God as they also are trying to connect to the same God which is our God also.
