Side of square tile= s = 12cm

Length of Room= l =360cm

Breadth of Room=b =240cm

Area of room= l×b
=360× 240
=86400cm^2

Area of one tile= s^2
=12×12
=144cm^2

Number of tiles required= Area of Room/Area of one square tile
=86400/144
=600tiles
