brain drain refers to a situation were highly qualified and trained people leave the country and migrate to another country, and this is very common in a country like India.
These people migrate in search of better opportunities in advance countries like US and other developed countries. But developing countries like india they need these trained and educated people in fields of science and tcnology and other fields like IT. reasons why people of india migrate to developing countries are unemployment, avalability of excess competitors ,lack of research facilities, the standard of living ,improper job conditions .
these reasons influence the mindset to igrate as those countries have better and most suitable for there stand of living.
these problem cannot be solved without the support and cooperation of the people.we the citizens would discourage our future generation from migrating to other places other than our own country india .government of india is also inviting the indians who have setteled in abroad ,to come back to their own country and help their country to develop. eventhough they accept this invitation and return but some take it as important and never try to come back. we are the change and we should change the destiny of this country .
Over the years, the United States has been the most successful in drawing, soaking-up, and exploiting talent from all across the world. The US with its world renowned universities, its dynamic companies, its high standard of living and its ever so liberal social and economic sensibilities, has succeeded in “luring” talented skilled individuals from less developed countries who are trained under highly subsidized public education systems in their home countries.
Students from India and China who have travelled abroad to study for advanced degrees or work in their professions are now showing an increasing interest in returning to their home countries permanently. These countries are showing a marked shift from labour intensive to knowledge and technology intensive industries.
Whatever the reason for the flight back home, the truth is these people are willing to move back to be able to leverage the tremendous opportunities that are presenting themselves back home. For the expatriates, moving back home to a developing country like India means taking a shot at being a part of a growing and dynamic economy; an economy where the resources being offered, will be greatly appreciated.
So it is finally happening! For decades Asian IITians and IIM graduates were lured to foreign shores with the dazzle of handsome remuneration. After years of losing the best of our brains and talent to the so called “land of opportunities”, it is time now to reap the benefits of “reverse brain drain.”
