                        JOYS AND HARDSHIPS OF SUMMER

Joys and hardships of Indian summer are many. Indian summer season starts from the month of May and lasts up to July. The heat wave during this season becomes quite oppressive and scorching. People and animals have to face many hardships! However the season brings many joys also.

Indian summer ripens many delicious fruits across the nation. Fruits such as mangoes, plums, peaches, melons, musk melons flood the markets and people enjoy relishing them. Summer brings uncountable flavors of scrumptious ice-creams, lemonades, juices, shakes, soft-drinks, sherbets, etc. In the summer vacation people go to various hill stations in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir to enjoy the cold weather there.

Summer brings along intense heat. It becomes difficult to be out in this intense heat. People feel thirsty more often; at places where water scarcity is, people really have to feel lots of hardships.

In conclusion it can be said, summer season has both joys and hardships. We must enjoy the joys and adapt according to the hardships.

Summer season comes after the spring season. During this season the climate is hot and humid. We like to eat ice-creams and drink cold drinks. It starts during the month of April and ends in the month of August. People like to be cotton clothes and light colors. The rays of the sun are very hot and strong in the summer season. Life becomes impossible without electric fans, coolers or air conditioners. We get summer vacations and people go to visit hill stations during this time. I like this season very much. Summer is the time to charge up the spirits. The vacations in the summer helps to groom oneself and involve in other activities so as to charge oneself for the coming year.
