As the two boys of Verona ,Nicola and Jacopo were very rich before the war as their father was a well known singer ,Lucia had herself been training as a singer.But when the war took place their father had been killed in early part of war.As soon as the conditions of Verona become more worst .There were no shelter ,food and anything remained left for the people living in Verona .Then for 3 years the germans ruled the city.The boys grew to hate germans. When war was over then peace was spread over the whole city at last the 2 boys their sister but she was suffering from tuberculosis of the spine then for her treatment the 2 boys admitted her to the hospital.But they had no money left so they really worked hard from day to night .They do many things that one could not imagine .They had utilized the money for the treatment of their sister and even the boys eat a lit bit only a black bread and figs to save their earnings.Because their faith was to see their sister fine and pinkish in health.As they had left only with their elder sister.so they loved her deeply.Due to the 2 boys she was overcoming with the disease and the doctor had also suggested that soon she will be fine and discharge from the hospital .Through their hard life,selfless action and devotion to their cause they succeed in accomplishing  an almost impossible task because in this difficult situations some people can get depression too but they fought with their situation hopefully and bravely.Their deep faith and trust in God and humanity help them to remain cheerful even in adversely circumstances or they have faced their obstacles with delight.Though in young age ,they were mature enough in mind to discharge their responsibilities perfectly well.They are self respecting and do not talk of their problems to everyone they meet because they don't wanted that any other stranger should interfere in their personal life and show some mercy or sympathy on them .Their selfless actions brought a new nobility to human life,gave promise of a greater hope for human society.
