Newspapers these days, rely heavily on advertisements for more earnings.
The results is that there are more advertisements than news features in newspapers.
The newspaper is now of many pages one expects to read a greater number of news features ;what one gets instead is a greater number of advertisements of products.
At times, the advertisement is in the same print as the news and one is misled into reading a whole article only to realize it is an advertisement.
The main purpose of newspaper is getting lost due to printing innumerable advertisements.
Even television screen is covered with
advertisements, distracting the viewer from the current news.
It causes disturbance ; a better way to advertise would be to give a separate sheet and space to these advertisement.
