when we inhale air passes through our nostrils then it reaches the lungs and the oxygen in the air is mixed with the haemoglobin in our blood to form oxy-haemoglobin and the carbodioxide and other gases are exhaled

When an oraganism breathes, it takes in oxygen with each inhale and releases carbon dioxide with each exhale. In Respiration, the cells of an organism obtain energy when  oxygen and glucose are combined together. This results in the release of carbon dioxide, water, and ATP. This is an exothermic process because energy is released in the form of ATP during the whole reaction.
