Stress on school students

In the present era, the education system is framed in such a way that it ends up troubling and giving the students a high level of stress.

The level of competition has increased like never before and this has led to students being stressed up and confining themselves to their books only. This keeps them away from other activities which are equally necessary for their overall development.

There are instances of frequent examinations which are all based on bookish knowledge and the students end up mugging them up without actually learning something worthwhile.

The education system needs to be reframed with the necessary focus on the all-round development of a child. He or she should be encouraged to participate more in other activities without taking the stress of exams.

  • They are forced to outperform others and growing competition is adding to the stress level.
  • This is adversely affecting their growth and development. Its time that we start counselling the students and telling them the importance of overall development rather than solely focusing on academics.
