In the 21st century, the students of either school or college are burdened with the social competition. The bag they carry are larger their own bodies. The students are stressed more because of the demand of the competition going among the students.

The competition is getting high and so as the peer pressure on them. They don't work hard for the knowledge but for the passing the hurdle of competition.

The peer pressure of getting maximum marks has stressed down the modern students specially in Indian system. This pressure puts them in a never-ending race where they never focus on what they are learning, how would they use it in their lives, but only on how they would attain maximum marks in the exams.

The cut-off trends, grade systems, percentage based admissions and privileges have made this situation verse. Undoubtedly there would be an assessment of every student, but that shouldn't make them feel superior or inferior on the basis of what they have scored.

The one who hasn't scored well in studies can do well in other ways, in other disciplines and in other sides of the life, but judged and cursed for his low marks in the exam, he would lose the self esteem forever.
