Success comes to those who Will and Dare.
This is a great proverb to inspire the young. We are faced with many situations and usually have many options to choose from. Often we choose to be conforming to the general public. We choose to be calm, simple, hidden in the public and get over the challenging task in front of us. That’s only just being human. Where does that lead us to?
We cannot win or achieve much by being passive in our lives. We need to be active. We need to do something more than the ordinary. Often the heroes become heroes because they did extraordinary feats risking their lives. We need to be adventurous, taking risks, but being prudent and having a good presence of mind. Good preparation is needed before we take adventures. We aim at achieving a tough task. We strongly believe that we can achieve it. Then we think of nothing but that. We make a stepwise plan of execution. Now Dare it. Just forget about the rest of the world. Execute the plan with full concentration and dedication. We are brave and we set aside and downplay all the hurdles.
Then, believe me; success falls right in our arms. God helps those who help themselves. We need to be positive minded and make a sincere effort. Never ever think of going back from our target. The legends such as Abhimanyu proved this fact. Hanuman proved it by flying over Indian ocean. Many Rajput Princes and other kings of India had proved this. Cricket lovers still cherish the world cup wins by Indian team. Virat Kohli Wills, Dares and Succeeds. Sakshi Malik and Dipa Karmarkar showed their will power to come from nowhere to fame and riches.
Mahatma Gandhi dared the bullets of the British with a strong will. So he became the man of the 20th Century. Surely, Fortune favours the Brave, Who Will and Dare.

I will tell you a good real life story to illustrate the success of “Willing and Daring”.
Last year our little village was infiltrated by terrorists. We were all afraid. The government and police said they are looking after the situation well and we can live our normal life. The principal of the girl's school insisted that all parents send the girls to the school regularly without any fear. Principal said that terrorists will not harm small local girls as they were fighting against the government.
The parents relented and the girls eagerly came to their classes unmindful of the danger. But who knew? The terrorists, carrying long rifles and guns, raided during last Monday night on our small hamlet. They took away sixteen people including four girls and 5 boys in their teens. Unfortunately the police was not very alert at that point of time. It just happened very quickly.
The police couldn’t identify the hiding place of the terrorists. I felt that I should dare and do an adventure. I have three close friends. We knew the region very well. One afternoon we made a plan to search the rocks and hillocks. Without telling the parents we packed some knives, chilli, pepper and salt powders and took strong wooden sticks in our hands. We went to the school science lab and dipped our hand kerchiefs in chloroform. Two of us carried our mobiles and put them in silent mode. We then walked up the small stream of water towards the hillock.
We heard someone moving and rustling sounds from brushing against the dry bushes. Quickly, we hid ourselves. I crawled forward and saw the terrorist heading into the hillock carrying a heavy bag with water dripping down. I signed my friends towards the caves in the mountain.
Two of us neared the cave from one side and two from the other side. We waited till it was midnight. Then we peeked inside silently. They were all there. I made a paper plane and flew it directly to the captive nearest to the entrance. He woke up himself and others.
He then called the terrorist and told him that he had to pee. The terrorist too came outside behind my friend and stood near the entrance. We tricked the terrorist, trapped and tied him up. We then put them to sleep with chloroform. We collected their weapons and came out of the cave. I called 100, the emergency and called the police.
We were commended and given prizes and money. We became famous; all due to our strong WILL and DARE. Surely, Fortune Favours the Brave, who will and dare.
