The world is mad about trash called entertainment. One has every right to entertainment. However, one must not waste one’s time, energy, resources, and wonderful life on chasing cheap pleasures.
There are two approaches to entertainment. One approach is eating, drinking, and indulging in carnal pleasures. This type of entertainment is utter trash. It results in regret and misery.
However, there is a finer and sublimated entertainment hidden in chasing higher goals of life such as self-actualization, discovering, innovating, and exploring new things. Great scientists, explorers, spiritual masters, innovators, helpers of mankind dedicated their lives to this entertainment. They enjoyed their lives to the fullest.
What can be trash for one can be entertainment for someone else.
It is all about perspective and the way things are looked at.
Objectively speaking entertainment these days is coming in obscene packages without any feel of good in it.
The term entertainment, I feel has been distorted to suit the present day demand of shallow pleasure.
