Answer:

Profit = 13.33%

Step-by-step explanation:

Articles are bought at rs. 45 per dozen.

1 Dozen = 12 numbers.

∴ Buying price of each Article = rs. 45/12 = rs. 3.75

Articles are sold at rs. 85 per score.

One score = 20 numbers

∴ Selling price of each Article = rs. 85/20 = rs. 4.25

Proffit of loss

Profit or loss is calculated as

Profit or loss per piece (P)= (Selling Price - Buying price)

∴ P = 4.25 - 3.75

∴ P = 0.5 rs.

As P is positive, it is profit.

% Profit = (Profit / Buying price) * 100

% Profit = (0.5 / 3.75) * 100

% Profit = 13.33 %
