Every year on 28th February is observed as Science day. Why do we celebrate Science day ? As , we celebrate Science day on the occasion when Sir C.V Raman discovered his Raman Effect. C.V Raman was Indian famous physician who contributed a lot in Indian Physics.As, C.V. Raman had discovered his Raman Effect on February 28, 1928.

The basic idea of celebrating National science day is to encourage the basics of Science in India. And also celebrated to show the efforts of great personalities for our easy life. It also give a message on the science. On this day every schools,colleges, government offices etc celebrate National science day by organising some interesting Science Exhibitions, fairs, speeches on Science and essays etc.

In India National science day is celebrated with some themes every year which are related our daily lives etc..
