why has money replaced the barter system? Give three reasons

Because of the following reasons
. it can be exchanged for any good and services
. it is authorised by the government so it is accepted whole over the country
. it is easy to store and carry.

The three reasons that lead to the replacement of barter system by money  are :

1.  Less possibility or lack of coincidence of wants or double coincidence of wants.

2.  Long trade was very expensive in barter system as goods and services were not easily mobile.

3.  Money is more convenient and practical. With the increase in trade and manufacturing, it was not possible to go with barter system.
