water fixed up till height (h)=2 m

Area of base (A)=100\ m^2(A)=100 m^2

assuming atmospheric pressure (P_0)=1atm≅ 10^5 Pa

so, pressure at bottom of tank,

P=P_0+ρgh.

   =10^5+10^3\times 10\times 2\quad [g=10 m/s²

P=(1.2\times 10^5) pa

Thus, thrust on bottom surface,

F=P.A=(1.2\times 10^5)\times 10^2⇒RF=1.2\times 10^7

PA ⇒F=1.2×10^5×10²⇒ f=1.2×10^7 N
