Hi ,
Selling price = s.p = Rs 1600
Discount = d = 20%
Marked price = m.p
m.p = ( s.p × 100 ) / ( 100- d )
= ( 1600 × 100 ) / ( 100 - 20 )
= ( 1600 × 100 ) / 80
= 20 × 100
= Rs 2000
Therefore ,
Marked price of the shoes = Rs2000
I hope this helps you.
