Given : Arun divided  32800 between Abhinav and Sunil, then they lent out their shares at C.I.

amount that Abhinav receives in 2 years is the same as what Sunil receives in 3 years.

The interest is compounded annually at the rate of 5% p.a

To Find :  their share.

Solution:

their share P  = x  ,  `32800 -x

R = 5%

n = 2 , 3

A = P (1 + R/100)ⁿ

x ( 1 + 5/100)²  = (32800 -x) (1 + 5/100)³

=> x =  (32800 -x)(1.05)

=> 2.05x = 32800 * 1.05

=> x = 16800

32800 -x  = 16000

their share. = 16800  and 16000
