In a right angled triangle ABC, angle B = 90°. If AB= 8, BC = 15,find the perimeter of ∆ ABC.​

so , CB is hypotenuse

so according to Pythagoras theorem,

H^2 = P^2 + B^2

CB^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

CB^2 = 8^2 + 15^2

= 64+225

= 289

CB = √289

CB = 17

Now, Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides

so Perimeter of triangle ABC = AB+ BC+CB

= 8+15+17

= 40 units
