marks in science and x marks in social
science. If each subject had a maximum of
150 marks and he scored on aggregate of
70%, then find what percent of the total
marks did he score in social science?​

marks scored in maths=73/150

marks scored in science=56*150/100=84

marks scored in science=x

total marks = 150*3=450

total marks secured by him=73+84+x

avg percent=54

total marks in 3 subjects=54*450/100=243

marks in science=243-157=86

therefore marks in science = 86
