Find the length of the garden:

Length = 100 - 4 - 4 = 92 m

Find the width of the garden:

Width = 80 - 4 - 4 = 72 m

Find the area without the path around it:

Area = Length x Width

Area = 92 x 72 = 6624 m²

Find the area of the other path that is parallel to the width:

Area = Length x Width

Area = 72 x 4 = 288 m²

Find the area of the garden:

Area = 6624 - 288 = 6336 m²

Answer: The area of the garden is 6336 m²
