After the Kalinga war, me, emperor Ashoka and other soldiers saw the distraction, blood sheds, dead bodies of children, men and women. I was very sad. I was feeling very uncomfortable. It was good that emperor Ashoka became a Buddhist and the only king who knew the futility of violence and also knew how to reknow it. At that seen I saw many soldiers sad like me. From this war we didn't attacked any Kingdom.
