Answer:

It was a cool summer’s evening in Broadway, New York. I was walking along the sidewalk with my sister Seetha Rajachandran, discussing the musical we had witnessed the previous day at the Broadway theatre. My sister was vehemently opposing my views on it; I always felt the musicals in the U.K. were a shade better. The argument reached its crescendo when we suddenly heard a loud Shree Gurubhyo Namaha, and a gentleman fell flat at my feet. We had heard of men falling for women but not literally like the one I witnessed.

The American passers-by stood petrified, wondering if the man had had an epileptic fit. Seetha looked at me, bewildered. The young Indian got up with folded hands and greeted me saying again, Shree Gurubhyo Namaha.
