As an individual I prevent vehicles for short way or for long way I'll use LPG or CNG vehicles to control air pollution and to control water pollution I'll reuse the water,I'll do rainwater harvesting.

As an individual I do not throw waste into rivers and lakes.i use battery bikes.etc......
