Educate your daughters
Encourage them to have their own career
Teach them to be independent and responsible
Treat them (your daughter) equally without any discrimination
Do not encourage the practice of giving or taking dowry

It is not compulsory that you must give dowry ...it is just a wish for the parents to give something to their daughter
But in old days and in some present situation it has become much arrogant...
Many families have even died due to this problem....
so make up your not give dowries...
woman should have her own job..
Husbands shouldnot have dominance over wife...
The bridegroom family and bride family should have equal rights in all decision and practices ...
