As for my grandmother being young and pretty, the thought was almost revolting. She often told us of

the games she used to play as a child. That seemed quite absurd and undignified on her part and we

treated it like the fables of the Prophets she used to tell us.

a) Who is ‘she?

b) What is absurd for the author?

c) How does the lady appears?

d) What do you understand by Fables of Prophets?

Answer:

a) The narrator's grandmother is being referred to as 'she' here.

b) It was absurd for the narrator to hear that his grandmother used to play games as a child.

c) By 'Fables of Prophets', the author meant that the stories that his grandmother told him about how she played during her time as a child were similar to the stories of the Prophets that she used to tell them when they were little.

Hope it helps and mark me as brainliest :D
